Quarterly updates on the AXIS system, our milestones, and the journey from Northland to market.
Kia ora,
It has been a big few weeks here at DairyTech Solutions. We have been working hard behind the scenes, and we are proud to share three major milestones that mark a turning point for the AXIS system and for every farmer who has been following our journey.
Our Phase 1 funding application has been officially approved. This is a major institutional validation of the AXIS technology and the problem we are solving. It secures our technical validation pathway and provides the runway we need to bring the AXIS system to market.
Our concept rig, built right here in Northland, will be complete and ready for testing in June. This desktop-scale unit is purpose-built to validate our residence times, throughput rates, and drying efficiency. Once we have that data confirmed, we move straight into fabricating the first full-scale commercial AXIS unit.
We are officially in the TUPU Accelerator programme. Being selected for this cohort gives us direct access to world-class coaching, investor networks, and the strategic support we need to scale AXIS out of Northland and across the country. We are proud to represent our community on this stage.
We have formally lodged our provisional patent application, protecting the core AXIS technology. This is a critical step in securing our intellectual property position ahead of commercialisation. The clock is now running on our 12-month priority window.
Stay up to date with the latest from DairyTech Solutions, including technical updates, farmer stories, and the presale announcement.

Kia ora,
As we kick off 2026, we want to take a moment to step back from the engineering work and talk about exactly why DairyTech Solutions exists. The problem we are solving is bigger than most people realise -- and the opportunity on the other side of it is just as significant.
Approximately 2% of all milk produced in New Zealand cannot go into the vat. Antibiotic treatments, colostrum surplus, transition milk -- it all gets discarded. That is 450 million litres annually, representing $350 million in lost value that simply disappears from the farming system each year.
Most farmers have two options today: dump waste milk into an effluent pond, or pay a third party to take it away. Both options cost money and neither recovers any value. Effluent ponds create environmental compliance headaches. Tanker collection is unreliable and expensive. The farmer loses either way.
While farmers pour protein down the drain, they are simultaneously spending significant capital buying Calf Milk Replacer (CMR) to feed their calves -- at around $7.50/kg from rural suppliers. The protein is already on the farm. The demand for feed is already on the farm. The technology to bridge that gap has simply not existed -- until now.
The AXIS System is a portable, scalable disc-stack drying unit designed specifically for on-farm use. Instead of dumping waste milk, farmers run it through the AXIS System to produce their own stable, value-added, animal feed-grade powder. It connects to any existing farm dairy shed, regardless of brand or scale.
Follow our journey and be the first to hear about the AXIS system launch, presale allocation, and farmer trials.
